POTLUCK TODAY:

LANA NA’AU: HOPE FOR HEARTS AND MINDS & ULU I KE ALOHA  MARIANTIT TO ANNOUNCE

  • Lana Na’Au is available for anyone who wants further support for their mental health
  • Ulu I ke Aloha is available for support through marriage and relationships
  • To clarify, we are no longer meeting on Wednesdays at 4:00 p.m.
  • To set up a personal meeting with either or both ministries, please call or text Marianita Baldwin or visit lananaau.com for more info. Mahalo!

VOLUNTEER SIGN-UPS

  • Sign-up sheets for the current volunteer needs are located by the hospitality table
    PLEASE SIGN UP!
  • We will be having a meeting after church July 19th to go over these ministries with those that signed up.
  • Lunch will be Provided.

CHIRSTMAS IN JULY

  • School supplies are needed to help fill Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes at our packing party in November.
  • Please put donations in the OCC bin or at the greeters’ table.
  • Monetary donations are also gladly accepted. Please put “OCC Packing Party” on the memo line or on the tithe envelope.

VOLUNTEER NEEDED

  • Help is needed to deliver meal kits to kupuna in Anahola Wednesdays
  • Meal kits are picked up at Crossroads Christian Fellowship between 11:00-12:00
  • You need to have a valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle, and be punctual and dependable
  • Contact Rae to volunteer

NOURISH KAUA’I

  • We are urgently looking for a volunteer delivery driver to deliver pre-packed meal kit bags to kupuna on the West Side beginning this Wednesday, June 17 and is biweekly running through September
  • Pickup is at Kaua’i Bible Church between 1:45-2:15PM
  • Delivery area is ‘Ele’ele to Kekaha. Some of the roads on the route can be rough, so an SUV or vehicle with higher clearance is especially helpful
  • See Karolyn or Julie if you are interested or want more information

“LIFE TOGETHER” WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY – BEGINNING JULY 2

  • 4th Thursday of the month July through October – August will be the 3rd Thursday
  • 6:00-8:30pm @ Karolyn Freuler’s home (see bulletin for contact info)
  • Please bring a dish that is ready to share, as well as, a notebook/journal and pen
  • See flyer at the greeter’s table for more information

ISAIAH BIBLE STUDY

  • 10-week study led by Richmond Shee beginning Monday April 27th @ 6:30pm
  • Kapa’a Neighborhood Center

NOTIFICATION EMAIL LIST:

  • If circumstances such as weather cause us to cancel service, we will notify you via email.
  • Add your email to the notification list on the greeters’ table or see Casey.

CURRENT/UPCOMING

WOMEN’S PRAYER GROUP NOW MEETING ON TUESDAYS

  • During the summer, we will meet on Tuesdays from 5:30-6:30pm here at Crossroads
  • Our focus is to pray for our church, the land, our leadership, and for one another

TRIBUTE TO LEE

  • We are putting together a tribute to Lee and are looking for pictures or videos you may have
  • Send pictures or videos to the Media Team (email in bulletin)
  • Feel free to share any memories as well

NOURISH

  • We are in need of backup delivery drivers for the Kapa’a and Lihue regions and would like to build a list of people who could possibly be available if/when our regular delivery volunteers are out
  • Delivery times are Wednesdays 12:30-2:30 in the Kapa’a area and 1:00-3:00 in Lihue

HAVE YOU SEEN THE “HELP NEEDED” BOARD? (to the right of the stage)

  • The board has a list of several things we could use your help with
  • We are also looking for someone to buy meat for our potluck next week – A list of what to buy, etc., will be provided. The church will reimburse you for the cost

“ANOTHER DAY IN PARADISE” CD

  • Instrumental CD – all original music composed by Lee Richards
  • All proceeds go towards the Worship Music Ministry

ONGOING STUDIES/GROUPS 

THURSDAY MEN’S STUDYS: 9:30am with Edwin AND 6:45pm with Chuck here at Crossroads.

ULU I KE ALOHA MARRIAGE GROUP: If you or someone you know would like to meet individually to discuss marriage or relationships, please contact Marianita.

WAHINE HULA: The Hula ministry meets Tuesdays @ 4:15.  We’re learning a new song and dance. Open to women and girls age 12 and older who would like to learn.

TALK STORY TUESDAYS AT 10AM:  Meets at south entrance, first pavilion of Kealia Beach. A listening ear for whoever needs it. Any questions contact Marianita.

LANA NA’AU – HOPE FOR HEARTS AND MINDS:  Meeting Monday evenings 6-7:30 at CCF to let God and His Word bring healing to our hurts, and all parts of us, that may be having a ripple effect in other areas of our lives.
